STS Kollegal participated in the Inter-School Literary and Cultural Meet 2026 at Sambhota School, Mundgod, from 6–8 October.

Teacher training and parent awareness sessions held on 8–9 October 2026 in collaboration with Manjushri Educational Services.

On October 7, 2026, our school inaugurated a new Tibetan Language Room, a dedicated space to strengthen students’ connection with their mother tongue and preserve Tibetan cultural heritage. The inauguration was honoured by Education Kalon Mr. Urgen Tenzin la, DOE Academic Head Mr. Jamyang Wangyal la, and the Dhondenling Settlement Officer. The room was made possible through support from the U.S. Department of State (SCA) through The Tibet Fund, alongside assistance from the Department of Education (CTA). We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who helped make this initiative possible.

On October 7, 2026, Sambhota Tibetan School, Kollegal, was honoured to welcome Education Kalon Mr. Urgen Tenzin la of the Central Tibetan Administration for an official visit to the school and its three pre-primary sections. The visit provided an opportunity to share the school’s work and discuss the continued development of students, teaching, and educational facilities.

Our school marked Gandhi Jayanti by reflecting on Mahatma Gandhi’s life, principles, and commitment to non-violence. The Social Science Committee helped students learn about his legacy, while the School Environment Club led a community-cleaning initiative. Through service and shared responsibility, students honoured the values of peace, cleanliness, and care for the community.
